Twenty-two seconds later, Mantha scored on a breakaway. Pittsburgh went up 3-0 just 15 seconds after that as Crosby deflected a pass from the slot into the net.

Key stat

Pittsburgh hadn鈥檛 won in Edmonton since Dec. 20, 2019. Part of the reason for that had been McDavid鈥檚 dominance over Crosby. In their 16 previous head-to-head meetings coming into the contest, McDavid had 11 goals and 34 points, while Crosby had just four goals and 11 points.
