TSB calls for stricter rules on medical fitness assessments after Alberta train crash

WAINWRIGHT - The Transportation Safety Board is calling on the federal government to strengthen its oversight of how railways assess whether employees are medically fit for work.

The call comes after an investigation into a 2023 collision between two ºÃÉ«tv ºÃÉ«tv Railway trains near Wainwright, Alta., about 200 kilometres southeast of Edmonton.
