OTTAWA - An Alberta couple says Canada's tax agency is trying to recoup tens of thousands of dollars in COVID supports, years after the claims were cleared.

Daria Skibington-Roffel said she signed up to receive benefit payments throughout the pandemic after her work hours were reduced. She saw that she was eligible for the funds while filling out a federal questionnaire.
