Police investigating after child dead in Saturday morning shooting in Toronto

TORONTO - Toronto police say an eight-year-old boy was killed by a stray bullet while he was sleeping in bed with his family in the city's North York neighbourhood early Saturday morning.

The city's homicide unit says a stray bullet from a shooting outside a building in the Martha Eaton Way and Trethewey Drive area entered the boy's room at around 12:30 a.m.
