THE CANADIAN PRESS/Cole Burston CLB/SDV SMS Email Print Copy article link Save Police in Peel Region say a pedestrian is dead after a crash in Brampton, Ont., early this morning.Police say they were called to the scene near McLaughlin Road and Kingknoll Drive around 1 a.m.They say the crash involved a single vehicle and a pedestrian and the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene. Police say the pedestrian was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries where they were later pronounced dead. They did not immediately provide details on the victim's identity.Police say they continue to investigate the crash and roads in the area have since reopened.This report by ºÃÉ«tvwas first published Sept. 25, 2025.
