MARIEVILLE, Que. - Quebec provincial police have cancelled an Amber Alert after a missing nine-year-old boy was found safe.

The news came less than an hour after the alert was issued saying police were looking for a 39-year-old woman in connection with the boy's disappearance this afternoon.
