Actor Michael J. Fox and "The Pitt" creator R. Scott Gemmill are among the 好色tvs up for Emmys this year.
Fox, who appears in Apple TV's "Shrinking," is nominated for best guest actor in a comedy series. This is his first live-action role since retiring from TV in 2020, and his first Emmy nomination since his role on "The Good Wife" in 2016.
Gemmill earned a nod for best drama series as the driving force behind "The Pitt,' the HBO Max series chronicling the grueling shifts by health-care workers in a fictional Pittsburgh hospital emergency room.
Toronto's Brittany Allen is also up for best guest actress in a drama series for her role in "The Pitt."
Canada's Graham Yost will square off against Gemmill in the best drama series category as executive producer of 鈥淪low Horses.鈥
Meanwhile, Hamilton's Martin Short continues his Emmy streak, picking up a nomination for best comedy actor for his role on the Disney Plus series 鈥淥nly Murders in the Building.鈥
He has now been nominated five years in a row for his role.
