Vancouver Island community under urgent water alert after main break disrupts system

PORT RENFREW - Residents of the Vancouver Island community of Port Renfrew can resume regular water use after repairs to its water main were completed.

The Capital Regional District had issued a water conservation alert on Thursday for the community about 100 kilometres west of Victoria as it was relying only on reservoir water, which was already very low.
