S&P/TSX composite up more than 150 points, U.S. stock markets mixed

TORONTO - Canada's main stock index rose more than 100 points on Friday, helped by gains in technology names, while U.S. markets lost ground. 

The S&P/TSX composite index was up 129.79 points at 34,980.00.
