Officials ask residents to conserve water after heavy downpour in Edmonton area

EDMONTON - Heavy rains and localized flooding in and around the city of Edmonton have officials asking residents to conserve water as their systems reach capacity.

A water supply alert from the city says flooding and sewer backups have been reported in neighbouring areas.
