N.S. police watchdog investigates after Halifax police shoot a man during arrest

HALIFAX - Nova Scotia's independent police watchdog is investigating after Halifax police shot a man while responding to a robbery report. 

Halifax Regional Police say they responded to a call of a robbery in progress at a liquor store on Grafton Street on Saturday afternoon, and then a second liquor store on Quinpool Road 40 minutes later, for another report of a robbery.
