Mass shootings in Canada have helped prompt changes to firearm laws over the decades

HALIFAX - Halifax police have signed an agreement with the federal government to participate in a gun buyback program.聽

Since 2020, Ottawa has prohibited over 2500 makes and models of assault-style firearms that were previously available to licensed gun owners.聽
