FREDERICK, Md. (AP) — Democrat April McClain Delaney and conservative Republican Neil Parrott remained in a close contest early Wednesday in Maryland’s most competitive U.S. House race, which will determine whether the sprawling 6th Congressional District will flip red after being represented by Democrats for over a decade.

With a large majority of precincts reporting, they were separated by an exceedingly narrow margin.
