NEW WESTMINSTER - A Metro Vancouver hockey coach has been charged with sexual assault, interference and exploitation stemming from an investigation into "historical" allegations dating back to 2008.

New Westminster police say the allegations against 58-year-old Ronald Veit of Surrey have not been proven in court, and he's out of custody on a number of conditions.
