Canada played just one match, losing 2-1 to France, since the last rankings in late March.
The top five remains the same with the U.S. topping the list, ahead of Germany, Sweden, England and France. After Spain and Canada, Brazil is No. 8 while the Netherlands fall one spot to No. 9.
Australia, one of Canada's Group B opponents at the World Cup. remains No. 10. Ireland and Nigeria are Canada's other first-round foes with the Irish unchanged at No. 22 and the African side up two spots to No. 40.
FIFA says 101 international matches were played since the March rankings.
Bhutan was the biggest mover, climbing seven places to No. 171. Indonesia suffered the biggest drop, falling six places to No. 105.
Slovenia (No. 39), the Philippines (No. 46), Cambodia (No. 118) and Saudi Arabia (No. 170) reached all-time highs in the rankings.
Spain and Ireland are two of 11 countries to post their best-ever FIFA ranking points total. The others are Slovenia, the Philippines, Zambia, Cambodia, Cyprus, Lebanon, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Bhutan.
