Caroline Chèvrefils says the man was rushed to hospital where he was later pronounced dead.According to initial reports, the victim was shot while sitting in a vehicle while the suspect fled on foot. No arrests had been made as of Saturday morning.The homicide investigation is being handled by the police major-crimes unit and is the 18th homicide recorded on Montreal territory in 2025.This report by ºÃÉ«tvwas first published June 28, 2025.
