THE CANADIAN PRESS/Jason Franson JF SMS Email Print Copy article link Save EDMONTON - Edmonton police have charged a 68-year-old music teacher with sex assault on a nine-year-old pupil. Investigators allege the man assaulted the girl several times during piano lessons at his home in the last year.The music teacher was charged this week with sexual assault and sexual interference.Police say he has been providing piano and violin classes for two decades. They believe he may have victimized more students during other lessons and that they should come forward.Police say the man is out on bail with a condition he does not have any contact or communication with anyone under 16.This report by ºÃÉ«tvwas first published July 23, 2025.
