Former Bloc MP who lost by single vote says she will appeal to Supreme Court

MONTREAL - The lawyer for a former Bloc Qu茅b茅cois MP who lost her riding by a single vote in the April federal election says allowing the result to stand would send a "disastrous message" to voters.聽

A three-day hearing began Monday in St-J茅r么me, Que., where Nathalie Sinclair-Desgagn茅 is challenging the outcome of the April 28 election in the riding of Terrebonne, north of Montreal. The Bloc incumbent lost the riding by one vote to Tatiana Auguste, now a Liberal MP.聽
