LONGUEUIL - A former researcher with Quebec's hydro utility has taken the stand in his trial for allegedly spying on behalf of China.

The Crown accuses Yuesheng Wang of sharing confidential research from Hydro-Québec with Chinese entities in commercializing battery technologies.
