The body of a missing Ontario teen who police believe was killed has been found in northern Saskatchewan.
RCMP say human remains were found earlier this month during a planned search near Pelican Narrows and later confirmed by an autopsy to be 16-year-old Jay’siiah Webb-Long.
The teen from Brampton was believed to be living in the village about 500 kilometres northeast of Saskatoon at the time of his disappearance in May 2025.
Mounties say that's when he was last in contact with his family in Ontario over social media.
They say he was initially reported missing to Peel Region police in Ontario before Saskatchewan RCMP's homicide unit took over the case in July 2025 and labelled his disappearance suspicious.
RCMP say they believe the teen's death was a homicide but have not released any details about how it happened or possible suspects.
