Relief from sweltering conditions expected in parts of Canada after days of heat

Sweltering heat is expected to break in the coming days for many ºÃÉ«tvs after Monday's scorching temperatures broke dozens of daily heat records across the country.

Around 51 daily heat records were broken across the country on Monday with many regions recording temperatures in the mid-30s, said Christy Climenhaga, a scientist with Environment Canada.
