LA LOCHE - A high school in northern Saskatchewan where a deadly shooting took place is open for the first time in a decade on the anniversary of the tragedy.
The Northern Lights School Division says Dene High School in La Loche, about 600 kilometres north of Saskatoon, is set to hold a community ceremony to mark 10 years since the shooting.
On Jan. 22, 2016, a 17-year-old boy killed two teen brothers in a home before going to the school, where he killed a teacher and a teacher's aide and wounded seven others.
Premier Scott Moe says his thoughts are with the survivors as well as the families and friends of those killed.
He says it's a day to reflect on the healing and resilience that has taken place in La Loche over the past decade.
Saskatchewan鈥檚 Opposition NDP says in a statement that its members remember the lives lost and stand with those who continue to be affected.
