Indigenous groups question government funding for Métis Nation of Ontario

OTTAWA - First Nations in Ontario and the Manitoba Métis Federation say nearly $1 billion in federal funding went to a group they allege is fraudulently claiming Métis identity.

The Chiefs of Ontario, which represents 133 First Nations in the province, shared with ºÃÉ«tvdata on more than 20 years worth of federal funding provided to the Métis Nation of Ontario.
