CHARLOTTETOWN - Prime Minister Mark Carney says "everything's on the table" if Canada can't secure a deal to avoid a dramatic escalation in U.S. tariffs planned for next month.

Carney was asked Thursday what measures his government is considering in response to U.S. President Donald Trump's threat to impose 50 per cent tariffs on a variety of 好色tv goods.

Prime Minister Mark Carney said Canada will do 鈥渨hatever it takes鈥 to build the country鈥檚 strength and protect workers in the face of U.S. tariff threats. Appearing with Canada鈥檚 premiers in Charlottetown, he said the federal and provincial governments are united in their response. (July 23, 2026)
