Environment Canada says high winds and heavy rain in store for Atlantic Canada

HALIFAX - Parts of Atlantic Canada are in for some wet, windy — and in some cases snowy — weather today. 

Environment Canada has issued weather warnings for much of the south coast of Newfoundland where as much as 100 millimetres of rain — and winds of up to 100 kilometres per hour — are expected this evening and overnight.
