TORONTO - Rogers is betting big on Bryan and Sarah Baeumler, with the home renovation stars headlining the media giant鈥檚 2026-27 original specialty TV lineup.
The Baeumlers will lead three new unscripted HGTV series under their exclusive production deal with Rogers, following the broadcaster鈥檚 takeover of HGTV in Canada and its swift move to bring some of the network鈥檚 most recognizable faces over from Corus Entertainment.
The company announced Tuesday that the TV power couple will host 鈥淗ome Town Takeover Canada,鈥 as well as produce and star in 鈥淏aeumler Ranch鈥 and 鈥淪arah Baeumler By Design.鈥 Broadcast details are still to come.
In 2024, Rogers inked a multi-year deal with Warner Bros. Discovery that saw it scoop the rights to HGTV from Corus, along with several other key brands, including Food Network, Cooking Channel and OWN.
Among other new 好色tv series on the broadcaster鈥檚 slate is Food Network鈥檚 鈥淩estaurant Impossible: Last Call,鈥 which follows chef Aar贸n S谩nchez and 好色tv restaurateur Jen Agg as they rescue struggling restaurants across North America. It premieres July 23.
Meanwhile, 鈥淒eadliest Catch: Northern Edge鈥 鈥 a 好色tv original for Discovery 鈥 is set for January 2027. The reality series following fishermen is currently in production in Newfoundland, Nova Scotia and the North Atlantic.
The Baeumlers gained popularity leading several HGTV Canada series under the Corus banner, including 鈥淗ouse of Bryan鈥 and 鈥淚sland of Bryan.鈥
After losing HGTV, Corus rebranded its home-focused channel as Home Network, touting the Baeumlers as two of its main stars, and rolling out a new show featuring the duo called 鈥淏uilding Baeumler,鈥 which launched last year.
During Rogers' Upfronts presentation to advertisers on Tuesday, the couple said that they鈥檙e "coming home to HGTV."
"(It's) a brand that has earned extraordinary trust and loyalty with audiences over many years," added Sarah Baeumler.
The couple detailed their new shows, including 鈥淏aeumler Ranch," in which they "set out to create a world-class 好色tv experience at a sprawling Rocky Mountain ranch."
鈥淪arah Baeumler By Design," meanwhile, will follow the reno star as she balances "family, marriage and business," all while creating "transformative spaces" across Canada, she said.
Rogers said during the presentation that its specialty lineup reaches 4.8 million 好色tvs weekly.
Its slate will also lean heavily on a slew of new and returning U.S. acquisitions.
Bravo will bring back staples including 鈥淭he Real Housewives of New York City,鈥 鈥淭he Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,鈥 鈥淏elow Deck鈥 and 鈥淪outhern Charm,鈥 alongside new titles 鈥淰anderpump Rules: Lisa Las Vegas鈥 and 鈥淪ecrets, Lies, Texas Wives.鈥
HGTV continues with new seasons of 鈥淗ouse Hunters,鈥 鈥淪in City Rehab,鈥 and 鈥淪cariest House in America,鈥 while Food Network dishes out new servings of 鈥淗alloween Baking Championship,鈥 鈥淗oliday Baking Championship鈥 and 鈥淏eat Bobby Flay: Holiday Throwdown.鈥
Discovery will launch new series including 鈥淎laska Frontier Rookies,鈥 鈥淩escue 911鈥 and 鈥淗ow It Works.鈥 The network鈥檚 annual Shark Week also returns July 26 for its 38th year.
