MONTREAL - Australia's competition regulator is opposing BRP Inc.'s proposed sale of Telwater Pty Ltd. to a subsidiary of Yamaha Motor Co. Ltd.

Telwater makes aluminum trailer boats in Australia under its Quintrex, Stacer and Yellowfin brands.
