MONTREAL - Air Canada says two new contracts with its finance and clerical employees have been ratified.Â
The airline says employees represented by the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers voted on two of three tentative agreements reached earlier in June.Â
The two agreements cover about 170 finance employees and about 115 clerical employees.Â
Air Canada says the ratification of a third agreement is in progress, covering about 11,000 maintenance, airport airside operations, cargo and cabin service employees.Â
Last week, Air Canada announced it had struck a tentative deal with unionized workers, recognizing the contributions and skills of employees in maintenance, cabin services, airport airside operations, cargo, finance and clerical roles. Â
At the time, the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers announced the deal as historic, with landmark wage increases for its members. Â
